If you already have your own video clips to play with, the example setups in the Templates menu is a quick way to get up and running with basic playback.

Step 1: In the Templates menu, select the 'Simple Player' option.
Tip: For an example template with two layers and fading between clips choose the 'Simple Mixer' template.

Step 2: Drag your media files from the Finder to the Media Bin or choose 'Import Media' in the File menu.
Step 3: Use the keyboard or mouse to trigger clips in the Media Bin.
